New York Times Travel Show to Showcase Latest Global Travel Trends, Jan 24-26

NEW YORK—Dubai Tourism, in association with Expo 2020 Dubai, will be the Presenting Sponsor of the 2020 New York Times Travel Show, to be held on January 24-26, 2020 in the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City.

Dubai Tourism will offer Travel Show attendees a variety of Dubai-focused programming and incentives during each day of the annual event, including a Dubai Focus on Travel session on Friday, January 24 for the travel trade and a presentation Saturday, January 25 for travelers.

New York — The New York Times has announced its speaker lineup for its 2018 Travel Show, which features a dynamic offering of travel experts, panel discussions, demonstrations and book signings for travel enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.

This year’s Show, taking place at the Jacob K. Javits Center, will begin Friday, Jan. 26 with its Trade Day, which is open exclusively to travel industry professionals. The Travel Show will be open to the general public Saturday, Jan. 27, and Sunday, Jan. 28. Celebrating its fifteenth year as the largest travel trade show in North America, this year’s programs will be moderated by New York Times journalists including Monica Drake, assistant managing editor and senior editor of travel; Sam Sifton, food editor; and many others. Turkish Airlines is the Presenting Sponsor of the 2018 New York Times Travel Show.

NY Times Travel Show is Place to Go for Family Travel Ideas; Admission Free for Kids

The 2017 New York Times Travel Show will feature numerous presentations for attendees interested in activities for younger travelers. On Saturday (1/28) and Sunday (1/29), admission for children (18 and under) is free.

In its 14th year, the Travel Show doors open to the public on Saturday and Sunday (Jan. 28-29) for two days of on-site deals and offers, travel seminars, tips from professionals at Meet the Experts programs, stage performances, and other features.

The Travel Show is also presenting a new feature, the Family Travel Pavilion, a dedicated area divided into exhibit booth space, a Presentation stage and a Kids demonstration area, where kids can experience culinary classes, arts & crafts projects, face painting and travel-related activities. The pavilion will also showcase leading players in the Family travel space, including lodges, resorts, destinations, cruise lines and dude ranches.

Annual Event to Showcase Latest in Global Travel Trends January 27-29, 2017

“Welcome to the World” is the theme for this year’s Travel Show, where industry experts and travel enthusiasts come together to share the latest travel news, trends and inspiration for the year ahead. Highlights of the 2017 New York Times Travel Show

The Travel Show starts on Friday, Jan. 8, with a Trade Day open to travel professionals and media. Doors open to the public on Saturday and Sunday (Jan. 9-10) for two days of on-site deals and offers, travel seminars, tips from professionals at Meet the Experts, stage performances, book signings by notable writers, and the Taste of the World culinary pavilion, which offers samples of global cuisines and a “Kids Kitchen” for kids of all ages.

The 2016 New York Times Travel Show will feature a wide variety of exclusive discounts, cultural performances, kid-friendly activities, culinary tastings and new offerings for the spa and wellness traveler.

This year’s Travel Show, taking place at the Jacob K. Javits Center, will begin Friday, Jan. 8, with its Trade Day, which is open exclusively to travel industry professionals.

The Travel Show will be open to the general public Saturday, Jan. 9, and Sunday, Jan. 10.

Debuting this year, the Wellness Travel Feature will showcase wellness travel brands that attendees may experience first-hand at the Travel Show.  Wellness samplings will include:

The New York Times Travel Show taking place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, Jan. 23-25, will feature 40 travel seminars, cultural presentations and features exclusive to the show, including,

  • Taste of the World, a global culinary showcase where attendees may sample cuisines from around the world;

The 11th annual New York Times Travel Show will be held February 28 – March 2, 2014 (Friday – Sunday) at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.  The Travel Show will feature nearly 500 exhibitors representing more than 150 countries and will focus on family, adventure and cruise line travel.

The New York Times Travel Show is the largest consumer and trade travel event in North America, featuring exhibitors from Africa, Asia, Australia/South Pacific, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America, Mexico and the United States.  The show will offer discounts, educational seminars and live entertainment for families, individuals, couples and seniors, including:

Exclusive Travel Discounts. Offers will include on-site-only vacation discounts and travel packages from sponsors and exhibitors.
