Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam fans will get wet and wild at the nation’s largest nightclub, Club La Vela each night of the September festival. Club La Vela is one of the trendiest and most respected nightclubs in the world. It has evolved over the years into a major entertainment complex, located in the heart of Panama City Beach, FL and is a huge hub for the thousands of Spring Breakers that visit the city each year. The multilevel club features eleven themed rooms, forty-eight bar stations, expansive balconies, elevated catwalks, the famous pool deck and the Concert Coliseum.

The festivities at Club La Vela will begin each night after the final notes are sung by Toby Keith, Brantley Gilbert, and Trace Adkins. Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam will have free shuttles available to ticketholders to transport them between the day stages, Frank Brown Park, and Club La Vela. “Since we will have three performers on our beachfront stages playing simultaneously during the day, we are inviting many of them to play our late night venues as well,” says Executive Producer, Rendy Lovelady. “This way, if fans don’t have a chance to see all of their favorites during the day, they can be sure to catch their performances at night.”

Comprised of six stages, Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam will provide the best of today’s country music for an audience of more than 15,000 people on the coast. During the day, three beachfront stages will be hosted by Edgewater Golf & Beach Resort, The Boardwalk Beach Resort and Seahaven Beach Resorts. Festival-goers will watch their favorite performers as they stand on the white “sugar sand” beach and dip their toes in the water. As the sun begins to set, patrons will ride free shuttles to the headline stage at Frank Brown Park. Washboard Music Festival is One-of-a-Kind Celebration of Appalachian Culture

A one-of-a-kind celebration of America’s Appalachian culture and heritage takes place during the 14th annual Washboard Music Festival, June 14-15, 2013, in southeast Ohio’s spectacular Hocking Hills. The festival starts Thursday with a special kickoff concert and auction from 6 -10 p.m., and runs Friday and Saturday from 12 – 11 p.m. Held in downtown Logan, Ohio, this extraordinary FREE festival features ongoing live music, parades, rides, a beer garden and a wide variety of festival-style foods. Blue Ridge Music Festival Ticket Prices Rise on April 16; Takes Place in Salem, VA June 1

With only a couple of months left to go, the highly-anticipated Blue Ridge Music Festival will see an increase in ticket price starting April 16. The one-day festival, to be held at Salem Stadium in Salem, Va., on June 1, will feature performances by Little Big Town, Hunter Hayes, Charles Esten, who plays Deacon Claybourne on ABC’s hit show “Nashville,” Gloriana, Colt Ford, Greg Bates, Will Hoge and Virginia’s own legendary party group, The Skip Castro Band. Tickets are currently on sale at the Salem Civic Center box office, all Ticketmaster locations and charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

The early-bird ticket price will end at 11:59 pm ET on April 15, when reserved and general admission field tickets will increase to $40 (plus additional fees). In addition, a very limited number of VIP tickets are being made available. VIP ticket holders will receive preferred reserved seating, preferred parking, VIP express entry, an invitation to the exclusive festival after-party, private bathrooms, private cash bar (beer & wine only), complimentary boxed lunch and a commemorative Blue Ridge Music Festival poster. VIP Experience tickets are $99.50 (plus additional fees).

The Roots Revival Roadshow, a triple bill of bands from the Northeast that captures the energy and excitement of the growing movement celebrating American folk music, will play Rockwood Music Hall in downtown Manhattan on March 24, as the final stop on a three-city tour.

Melding the sounds of folk and bluegrass with grimey rock-and-roll saxophone and gut-bucket blues, Roosevelt Dime (Brooklyn, NY) delivers a music they describe as “steamboat soul”. They have been praised by the New York Times as “…a perpetual crowd pleaser,” and have been featured in premier festivals including Caramoor, Musikfest, and The Philadelphia Folk Fest.

Somewhere between Waylon Jennings and Mumford and Sons, you find North of Nashville (Portland ME), an outlaw country duo of guitar and fiddle, recently nominated for “Best Folk, Country and Roots Act” in the 2012 New England Music Awards. Frontman Jay Basiner keeps one foot on the kick drum, and the other firmly planted in the rich tradition of American music.

Hailed by Relix Magazine for their “endless musical vocabulary,” five-piece string band Union Street Preservation Society (Brooklyn, NY) offers a blend of old-time and early jazz, as if Old Crow Medicine Show were transplanted into a prohibition-era speakeasy. Their most recent album features legendary mandolinist Andy Statman, whose own unusual blend of jazz and bluegrass perfectly complements the band’s eclectic sound.

The Roots Revival Roadshow is not your mother’s gentle lulling folk music; it is an explosion of youthful energy that pays great homage to American tradition while simultaneously redefining the genre.

FestEVOL, Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s (CBMR) springtime concert series returns for another show this spring. FestEVOL is a unique lifestyle experience combining snowsports with live music, innovative natural brands and the sustainably focused Reverb Eco-Village. In its fourth year, FestEVOL will showcase a great line-up of live music, skiing and riding, and all-natural foods to CBMR. On Saturday, March 9, local band Mine Control will start the festivities off, followed by Vermont-based band Twiddle, with special guest John Popper of Blues Traveler. The main act will be The Wailers, reggae legends and also crowd pleasers.

This year, FestEVOL begins its three stop tour at Crested Butte Mountain Resort March 9th. Then heads east March 16th to Okemo Mountain Resort in Ludlow, Vermont, where O.A.R will open for Yukon Kornelious and Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury, New Hampshire on March 23, featuring O.A.R.

As a little background, FestEVOL began three years ago in Crested Butte, Colo. as an idea among friends and now partners; combining mountain sports, live music, innovative natural brands and a sustainably focused “eco village” to keep the event green and to help spread environment consciousness among concert-goers. FestEVOL teamed up with the IZSTYLE winter tour to feature the Reverb Eco Village. This interactive village includes local, regional and national environmental non-profit groups alongside alternative energy and transportation exhibits. The Eco Village also highlights all natural/organic food sampling and ski/snowboard equipment demos with Nordica skis and Burton snowboards.

Reverb is a non-profit started by Guster band member Adam Gardner, and his wife Lauren Sullivan as an effort to “green up” concert venues, including things like enhancing recycling efforts, switching tour buses to bio-diesel, and using LED lights for on-stage lighting to name a few.

After selling out in record time in 2012, the 3rd Annual Durango Blues Train, which is presented by the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival, expands to two days in 2013.

Tickets are now on sale for the 3rd Annual Durango Blues Train May 31st and June 1, 2013 on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad (D&SNGRR).  After selling out in record time for tickets in 2012, this exclusive musical event, which is presented by the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival, expands to two days in 2013.

This ‘moving’ experience features six live Blues and Zydeco acts, while passengers travel aboard The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad’s coal-fired, steam-powered locomotive through the spectacular and breathtaking canyons of Colorado’s San Juan National Forest.

“We are very excited to return for a third year and excited to extend to two-days, giving more people a chance to ride the Blues Train,” said Steve Gumble, founder of the Durango Blues Train. “Something magical happens when you combine blues with a steam fired train.”

The 2013 Blues Train lineup brings award-winning musical artists Peter Karp and Sue Foley, Lil’ Brian & The Zydeco Travelers, Lionel Young, Kirk James, Todd & The Fox, and Low Volts. Each artist performs in their own vintage coach car, as passengers are to free to dance, move and sample all the musical acts while traveling from one vintage rail car to next. Entertainment and favorite libations are peppered with the scenery of the famous train featured in the Hollywood production, “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” among others.

The Blues train experience begins at the historic train depot where the steam engine fires up and it’s all aboard for an experience of a lifetime. Passengers aboard will experience spectacular and breathtaking canyon views of Colorado’s San Juan National Forest as the train winds onto the “Highline,” a world famous section of railroad crawling along cliffs high above the Animas River, for an unforgettable musical journey.

Guests can enjoy live Blues and Zydeco with a beer and wine cash bar, and light snacks while riding the rails. Tickets are $95 per person, plus a 6% Historic Train Preservation fee. Tickets are extremely limited and purchasers must be 21 years old to participate.
