Parker&Morgan, purveyors of luxury sleep and wellness products, has partnered with Virgin Hotels to create an online retail shop where buyers can create their own Virgin Hotels-like environment, including the patented and award-winning Lounge Bed. Guests who experience the reimagined hospitality experience are now able to bring elements of their stay into their own homes.

“The Virgin brand has a tremendous history in driving innovation and change,” says Parker&Morgan CEO Peter Whitford. “Bringing that expertise to the hotel industry is nothing short of a game-changer. We are thrilled to be able to extend the room experience beyond the property to further support brand loyalty.”

Parker&Morgan partners with marquee hotels and small luxury hotel groups to create exclusive online retail shops, reflective of the distinctive experience of each hotel. The company works closely with hotel designers and brand partners to expand the retail offering to gifts and decor reminiscent of their stay as well as products from prominent local artisans.

“Travelers want to make a connection to the places they visit,” adds Whitford. “There is nothing more intimate than bringing products into your own home.”

Virgin Hotels at Home Store features iconic room items like the SMEG mini-bar fridge and the Vespa Italian scooter desk chair. The showcase item is the Lounge Bed, which features an ergonomic, padded headboard and a unique corner seat at the foot. The Lounge Bed is offered exclusively through the Virgin Hotels At Home site.

Parker&Morgan manages all aspects of the online site as a seamless extension of the hotel’s own website. Parker&Morgan are retail and luxury experts who curate and manage the shopping experience including an on-call Sleep Concierge who can walk guests through the personal details of creating the most restful night or identifying elements from their hotel stay.

La Réserve Paris Hotel and Spa is recreated from the Haussmannian Mansion formerly owned by designer Pierre Cardin.

La Réserve Paris Hotel and Spa just opened, joins La Réserve Apartments as La Réserve Hospitality Collection’s first metropolitan outpost, following two years of fastidious work by more than 120 artisans.

The 40-room hotel was designed by Jacques Garcia, marking the third successful collaboration between Michel Reybier and the renowned decorator (La Réserve Genève in Geneva, Switzerland, and the Château La Chartreuse de Cos d’Estournel in Bordeaux, France). The new hotel and spa occupies a Haussmannian mansion previously owned by the designer, Pierre Cardin, off the Champs-Elysées at 42 Avenue Gabriel, tucked away in the 8th Arrondissement – a stone’s throw from the Palais d’Elysée and Place de la Concorde – with views of the Eiffel Tower, Grand Palais, Pantheon, and Luxor Obelisk.

La Réserve Paris is a serene escape from the bruit de fond of France’s capital city. Interiors of the 26 spacious suites (including four Presidential Suites) and 14 rooms that pay homage to the chic style of the Belle Époque. The large rooms feature period antique furniture, rich fabrics, regal colors, and muted lighting.

The particularly refined spaces, beyond the rooms and suites include facilities like a private lounge, bar, courtyard, smoking parlor, library, and the seasonal French restaurant Le Gabriel, helmed by Jérôme Banctel, former Chef du Cuisine of the two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Senderens. Suites will include personal butler service, and in-room wine coolers.

The spa consists of three treatment rooms, gym, sauna, and a 52 foot indoor pool. The treatment menu features the world-renowned Swiss anti-aging treatment, Nescens.

La Réserve Paris Apartments consists of 10 furnished apartments for longer-term stays, located at Place du Trocadéro, and has been open since 2007 and is considered an extension of the new hotel and spa.

Conceived by Michel Reybier to express his passion for fine living, wellness, and high design, La Réserve Hospitality Collection has hotels in Geneva and Ramatuelle, just outside St. Tropez. Reybier also owns La Chartreuse, Château Cos d’Estournel, one of Bordeaux’s top wines and Tokaj Hetszolo, one of Hungary’s most beautiful vineyards.

Lark Hotels Opens Stylish, Hip 21 Broad on Nantucket

July 24, 2014
Lark Hotels' 21 Broad has just opened on Nantucket, bringing the hotelier's stylish touch to the island.

Lark Hotels’ 21 Broad has just opened on Nantucket, bringing the hotelier’s stylish touch to the island.

Lark Hotels expands its “designer hotel meets historic property” concept with the grand opening of Nantucket’s 21 Broad, which began welcoming guests July 19.

Boasting designs by Boston’s award-winning Rachel Reider Interiors, 21 Broad is a fully renovated, 27-room hotel located within a 1876 structure and just a minute’s walk from the Steamship Authority and iconic island restaurants.

21 Broad pampers guests with luxuries such as a steam and massage room, gluten free artisan pastries and eco-friendly vitamin C showers, which de-chlorinate the water and leave the skin silky smooth.

21 Broad, which is owned by Bruce A. Percelay, is Lark Hotel’s second collaboration with his Boston-based real estate development company and joins Percelay’s chic sister property 76 Main, which opened last summer and is the only hotel on tony Main Street in the heart of Nantucket town.

Like all Lark hotels, guestrooms and common areas at 21 Broad display a hip and stylish decor, which infuses the historic architecture with bold, yet playful designs. Interiors blend an “Urban meets Nantucket – Modern meets Broad Street” feel all the while keeping the integrity of its 1800s structure. Reider has created the designs for most of the Lark Hotels collection. Textures and colors at 21 Broad blend a “white on white” palette with pops of bold colors mixed with woods, large striking art pieces, earth toned linens and sea grass.

Guest amenities and services at 21 Broad include spa services, a guest lounge with games, turntable with vinyl collection, landscaped outdoor courtyard with fire pit, iPads and iPod docking stations with a white noise feature, 40” LED Smart TVs, in-room Keurig coffee makers and refrigerators, personalized concierge service, complimentary wireless internet, and guest discounts for online purchases at vineyard vines, the official outfitter of 21 Broad and all Lark Hotels.

Set in six coveted seaside locations – Kennebunkport and Portland, ME, Nantucket, MA, Portsmouth, NH and Newport and Narragansett, RI – Lark Hotels embrace the locations they are in, but in playful, unexpected ways. Think “sense of place” with imagination and a touch of mischief. Each Lark Hotel invites guests to experience modern luxury in the heart of an iconic destination, to feel the pull of a nostalgic getaway while surrounded by today’s amenities and to find attentive service when they want it and privacy when they don’t.
