Travelers can take advantage of a 20% discount off the regular price of Eurail Global and Eurail Select Passes booked from November 1 through December 31, 2013. The Off Peak promotional passes can be used for European rail travel until March 31, 2014 and are open to all travel categories: Adult, Child and Youth, including Saver Passes intended for groups of two to five people with a further 15% reduction, and for both first and second class travel.

“Due to the success of last year’s Off Peak promotion, we are confident that this special offer will attract more travelers to Europe during the upcoming winter season. Not only can tourist’s benefit from a discounted Eurail Select or Eurail Global Pass, they’ll notice fewer crowds when visiting popular tourist attractions” explains Silvia Goerlach, Eurail Group’s newly appointed Sales and Marketing Manager.

At this time of year pass holders choose to visit European Christmas Markets, experience the Northern Lights in Scandinavia or head towards the Mediterranean where the temperature is warmer. Traveling from one city centre to another, tourists can absorb the European landscapes and enjoy the comfort and stress free environment of travelling by rail.

Eurail Global Passes are valid for travel all over Europe in 24 countries and offers the independent traveler the flexibility to create their own itinerary whilst hopping on and off trains across Europe. The Eurail network encompasses to 233,000 kilometers of track (144,000 miles) on the European continent. Nearly 96,000 passengers have already travelled with the Eurail Global Pass this year, representing an increase of almost 30% over 2012 figures.

For shorter vacations, Eurail offers passes for trips to only a few countries too. The Select Pass is available for combinations of three to five countries and is also included in the 20% Off Promotion. NYC’s Kaia Wine Bar Hosts Monthly Events Focused on Small Businesses, Artists, Entrepreneurs

Kaia Wine Bar located in Manhattan is famous for its South African wines and exotic dishes. Always on the cutting edge of offering something new to the public, this month the trendy restaurant is launching their new initiative called Kaia Marketplace, a monthly hosted wine and gathering event that features local small businesses, artists and entrepreneurs in the area who are looking to move the needle in New York City.

Kaia Marketplace event feature a cocktail hour, brunch, or luncheon with a special guest speaker who covers a special topic each month.

“We know how hard it is to get your name out in the big city and we want to help other small businesses do that through our Marketplace.” Said Suzaan Hauptfleisch, owner and founder of Kaia Wine Bar. “We started off as a small business ourselves, and grew through word-of-mouth. It’s now time for us to give back and do the same for other local New Yorkers looking to pursue their dream.”

Kaia’s first Marketplace event, Nov. 16, will kick off with a brunch featuring international eco makeup artist, Kristen Arnett the founder of GreenBeautyTeam.com. With over 15 years of experience in the makeup industry, Arnett offers specialized services for women who want to nourish their skin with effective, healthy, green cosmetics and learn her pro tricks for looking fabulous every day.

Arnett was recently featured in ELLE Magazine as a leader in green beauty and serves as the beauty writer for Whole Foods website. Daily Candy recently touted her as an eco makeup artist expert. Guests at the November 16th event can look forward to meeting Arnett one-on-one and learning how to go green when it comes to their daily beauty routine.

“I’m very excited to be the first speaker in the Kaia Marketplace series. One thing I am passionate about is supporting women in all aspects of their lives from business to beauty to well-being to pure enjoyment,” said Arnett. “This series Suzaan has put together with the rest of the Kaia team merges all of that perfectly.”
